Restaurant Henrik

The Henrik restaurant is usually used for lunch service, but it is also well suited to smaller dinners, Christmas dinners and receptions. Dividing walls can be used to divide the restaurant into two sections, the New Henrik and the Historical Henrik.

The restaurant was designed by none other than Snøhetta, the architecture firm behind the new opera building in Oslo. In true Snøhetta style, the restaurant’s style is modern, clean and fresh.

New Henrik

New Henrik, the largest section of the Henrik restaurant, can fit approximately 252 guests. This section is L-shaped and is therefore best for lunch service.


Historical Henrik

Historical Henrik fits 130 guests. This section is usually used for smaller dinners, Christmas dinners, and receptions of various types. The name, “Historical Henrik”, is derived from the fact that we have graced the room with the original stage arch from the former Folkets Hus, the “House of the People”. This fine piece of décor, more than 100 years old, provides a marvellous contrast with such a modern setting.
