Hall A

Hall A, with its 560 m², is the largest part of the Congress Hall. The hall is very flexible and can be arranged either along the built-in stage or along the large screens on the one lengthwise side. Such flexibility means the room can fit 200 to 690 people equally well.

Hall A can be used for everything from courses, conferences, national meetings, annual meetings and congresses to banquets, events, fairs and concerts.

The summer of 2013 we renovated Hall A, mainly with a focus on technical solutions. The hall ceiling became black to gain a better effect of our light shows. Then, we installed a brand new RGB light and exchanged all the lights to LED.

Furthermore, we now have two motorized lighting truss systems to make the process of setting up lights even more efficient.

In addition to the standard technical equipment (projectors, screen and microphones), the Hall A is also equipped with a top-quality sound system and a ceiling-mounted lighting rig.

When booking Hall A one also enjoys priority access to half the Foyer. The Foyer can be used for registration, exhibitions and coffee breaks in conjunction with meetings of various types. This area naturally lends itself to cocktails or refreshments for receptions, banquets and events.

Connected to the Hall A one will find stage dressing rooms, an office, a meeting room section (Odin, Balder and Tyr) and Torgutsikten. This room is 194 m² and can be used for events such as press centre, exhibitions or as a “speakers prep room”.
