Samfunnssalen

In 2008-09 Samfunnssalen was given a facelift in the form of new furniture, a new interior as well as a new premium quality sound system. The combination of the modern and the historical make the hall especially unique and popular.

The hall, which measures 540 m², lends itself exceptionally well to all purposes – meetings of various types, reception events and intimate fairs/trade show events.

The advantage of holding a fair in the Samfunnssalen is, apart from the perfect location, the fact that almost everything is taken care of right here in-house – tables, chairs, technical equipment, electrical connections, etc.

Connected to the hall is a 100 m2 veranda and restaurant area where, upon request, we can set up a vending station for food and beverages with various themes.

The Samfunnsalen is one of our rooms with the highest daily occupancy growth rate. A major advantage of using this hall in particular is that it is completely detached. There will be no spill-over or overlap with customers from other sections of Oslo Congress Centre.

Samfunnsalen is directly across the street from Oslo Congress Centre, Arbeidersamfunnets plass 1, previously Sentrum Kongress og Scene. Next to today’s Sentrum Scene. Have a look at the map.

Capacity, number of stands

Centre. Because of fire safety regulations and
related concerns, all exhibition plans must be
approved in advance.

Stage/Riser

The Samfunnssalen has a 120 m² (11 x 8 m) built-in stage. The standard riser measures 3 x 6 m (placed at front of stage).
