Congress Hall

We have extensive experience when it comes to coordinating fair-type events. In recent years we have helped coordinate events such as ”Photography 2009”, ”Homes abroad” and the ”Alternative lifestyle fair".

The advantage of holding a fair at Oslo Congress Centre is, apart from the perfect location, the fact that almost everything is taken care of right here in-house – tables, chairs, technical equipment, electrical connections, etc. Our exceptional kitchen can meet all possible needs for dining and hosting.

It is important to add that all standard equipment can be transported into the hall directly from street level.

The Congress Hall is very well equipped technically. In addition to the standard technical equipment, such as projectors, screen, and microphones, the hall is also equipped with a top-quality sound system and a ceiling-mounted lighting rig.

When using the Congress Hall for a fair, it is a natural choice also to locate exhibitors in the Foyer (750 m²), one stair down from the main entrance. In the foyer visitors will also find toilets, cloakrooms, and coffee and tea stations.

Need even more exhibition space? Then we recommend using the Forum (140 m² - directly connected to the Foyer) Hall D (460 m²), and Torgutsikten (approx. 150 m²). In addition to the above we also operate the Samfunnssalen, which is located at Arbeidersamfunnets plass 1(next to Sentrum scene – around the corner from Oslo Congress Centre). This room is also suitable for this type of fair/trade show events.

Stage

The standard layout in the Congress Hall is a 4x8 m riser. The Congress Hall has a 140 m² built-in stage on its left lengthwise side. Behind the stage there are dressing rooms and toilets.
