Congress Hall
The Congress Hall is a multifunctional “great room” that can be used for everything from conferences and congresses to fairs, banquets, events and concerts. The hall’s 1,000 square metres can fit up to 1,400 people in a theatre layout and 960 people in a banquet layout (round tables), which makes it the largest of its kind in central Oslo.

The Congress Hall was refurbished in 2008 and is now very modern, fresh and user-friendly. Despite its size, the hall feels intimate and warm, and it is also ideal for “smaller” groups – from 400 people and up (300 in banquet layout).
The Congress Hall is very flexible and can easily be divided into two or three separate areas – Hall A, Hall B and Hall C (or Hall B+C). Partition walls are made of oak and, naturally, sound-proofed.
The Oslo Congress Centre’s “great room” is very well equipped in technological terms. In addition to the standard technical equipment (projectors, screen and microphones), the hall also features a top-quality sound system and a ceiling-mounted lighting rig.
When booking the Congress Hall, one also enjoys priority access to the Foyer. For receptions and events, this area naturally lends itself to use as a refreshment or cocktail area.
Connected to the Congress Hall, one will find stage dressing rooms, an office, a meeting room section and Torgutsikten. This room is 194 m² and can be used as a “speakers prep room” or as a lounge etc.

Stage
The standard layout in the Congress Hall is a 4x8 m riser with a speaker’s lectern and a panel table for four people. The Congress Hall has a 140 m² built-in stage on its left lengthwise side. Behind the stage there are dressing rooms and toilets.
